Role Summary:

NMDC Dredging & Marine seeks a highly skilled Beach Management Specialist to lead our coastal engineering projects. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and implementing consultant's designs for shore protection works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and implement consultant's coastal engineering designs
  • Develop and review shop drawings
  • Supervise beach nourishment and coastal protection works
  • Monitor coastal morphology and protection measures
  • Ensure compliance with environmental requirements
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and regulatory bodies

Key Skills:

  • 5+ years experience in coastal engineering projects
  • Strong understanding of sediment transport and coastal processes
  • Experience in beach nourishment and coastal protection works
  • Knowledge of environmental impact assessment and mitigation
  • Contractor management and site supervision skills
  • Familiarity with numerical modelling studies and coastal modelling software (e.g., MIKE 21, Delft3D, SWAN)
  • Familiarity with GIS tools
  • Construction management and site supervision skills
