Key Responsibilities- Lead regional market expansion efforts, developing and implementing strategies to drive business growth.
- Oversee the evolution of profit and loss statements, adjusting to market response and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Determine and establish the UAE office location, building a high-performing team and fostering a flexible and non-corporate culture.
The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping key operational strategies, including vendor selection, key hires, and board appointments.
Required Experience & SkillsTechnical & Industry Knowledge:
- Strong familiarity with financial assets and blockchain technology, with a background in DeFi and TradFi.
- Experience with traditional trading platforms (FX, equities, etc.) is a plus, as well as web3/crypto experience.
Leadership & Commercial Expertise:
- Proven track record in commercial leadership and business growth, with experience in building organizational structures, managing P&L, and people management.
- Operational experience, including strategic decision-making and execution, with comfort working in startup and high-growth environments.
Personality & Cultural Fit:
- Adaptable, humble, and open-minded, with an entrepreneurial self-starter approach and a hands-on leadership style.
- Comfortable with uncertainty, risk, and rapid change, with a focus on execution and results.
