Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

The Government Relations Lead will be evaluated based on the following KPIs:

  • Successful facilitation of government-related HR processes.
  • Compliance with UAE labor laws and regulations.
  • Resolution of labor disputes and provision of guidance on employee rights and obligations.
  • Achievement of Emiratisation targets and alignment with national workforce participation goals.
  • Development and maintenance of relationships with government entities.
  • Staying updated on regulatory changes and ensuring organizational compliance.
  • Liaising with government bodies to secure necessary permits, licenses, and approvals.
  • Overseeing the visa application and renewal process for expatriate staff.
  • Managing the onboarding process, ensuring completion of all government-mandated documentation.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to align HR practices with regulatory requirements.
  • Addressing any labor disputes and government-related inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Providing clear, proactive guidance to both management and employees on government procedures and labor rights.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to HR and government interactions.
  • Ensuring adherence to SLAs and driving operational excellence.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years in a similar role with a focus on HR government services
  • Demonstrated success in managing government relationships and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will also require:

  • Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws, regulations, and government procedures.
  • Preferable SAP or comparable ERP systems and HRIS software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with government officials and internal stakeholders.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to managing labor disputes and regulatory challenges.
  • A customer service mindset with a focus on operational excellence.
  • Integrity and Ethics: Commitment to transparency and ethical behavior in all dealings.
  • Strategic Thinking and Initiative: Proactive identification and resolution of issues, with a drive for continuous improvement and change.
  • Planning and Organizing: Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
