Job Description
The National Professional Officer (Administration) will be responsible for providing high-quality administrative support to the FAO Subregional Office for the Gulf Cooperation Council States and Yemen in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
This role involves coordinating office administrative services, supporting programme implementation, developing internal systems, analyzing data, preparing reports, maintaining relationships with external partners, reviewing policies, and promoting a culture of integrity.
Main Responsibilities
Coordinate administrative activities, including planning, organizing, and supervising staff, to ensure efficient use of resources.
Support programme implementation through effective communication, coordination, and collaboration with stakeholders, including government agencies, vendors, and suppliers.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal systems, processes, and controls to ensure efficient use of resources, accurate data analysis, and informed decision-making.
Analyze data and information to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement, making recommendations for informed decision-making.
Prepare and review reports, documents, and presentations to meet high standards of quality and accuracy.
Maintain relationships with external partners, such as government agencies, vendors, and suppliers, to facilitate smooth project execution.
Assist in reviewing and revising policies, procedures, and manuals to align with changing organizational needs.
Promote a culture of integrity, transparency, and accountability within the team and across the organization.
