Main Responsibilities

The Senior Vice President of Energy Management will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring complex clients and systems. This includes:

  • Providing customer technical support for complex clients and problems, ensuring performance of the asset (client) is maintained through the course of the contract.
  • Collecting and evaluating statistical data related to the performance of the assets.
  • Supporting the Data Analytics team with ongoing improvement on automation of data gathering, analysis, and reporting, including fault detection and root cause identification.
  • Utilizing Infor and fostering utilization from the team for all client-related topics.
  • Managing responses to emergencies and crises.
  • Facilitating responses to crisis situations and recovery activities.
  • Evaluating and providing fast resolution to critical field performance issues.
  • Visiting sites to diagnose Client operational issues and develop resolution plans for complex cases that cannot be easily resolved.
  • Approving recommended repair works for major equipment and system failures.
  • Checking performance deviations and defining root cause for any performance issues and, if needed, escalating to either Engineering or Performance team.
  • Having oversight on maintenance work.
  • Being responsible for the planning of corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance activities that ensure Client equipment and client systems are fully functional and in optimal operating condition, preserving Client energy savings.
  • Optimizing maintenance plans and schedules for inspection, testing, repair, and predictive maintenance of equipment and systems to minimize downtime and costs.
  • Providing technical guidance on equipment and systems maintenance for equipment and systems.
  • Endorsing resourcing requirements to achieve operational state in accordance with Client expectations.
  • Driving internal and subcontractor compliance with the health & safety standards and practices.
  • Supporting Customer Success Managers in creating further business opportunities.
  • Fostering close collaboration with Customer Success managers to ensure client performance and satisfaction.
  • Advising customer team and Client Customer Success manager to correct inefficient uses of energy both technically and procedurally, as well as providing support with data justification.
  • Identifying potential upselling opportunities at client site during regular or ad-hoc maintenance.
  • Organizing and developing the team.
  • Coaching and training Central Maintenance engineers.
  • Driving talent recruitment and development for the department in alignment with organizational strategy.
RequirementsQualifications
  • Degree or Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Specialist qualification in refrigeration and air-conditioning and Energy Management will be an added advantage.
  • Singapore Certified Energy Manager (SCEM) certification would be an added advantage.
  • 5+ year of prior work experience in energy management.
  • Field experience with HVAC systems - chillers, air-handlers, etc.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Able to gain the trust from clients, has great communication skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
  • Analytical mindset, is able to see patterns in data.
  • Curiosity to solve problems, spotting issues and resolving them.
  • Hands-on, not afraid of being in the fields and solving issues collaboratively with the client when required.
  • Value teamwork and collaboration.
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and control systems is a plus.
  • Able to travel.
