Job Description

The successful candidate will work closely with the Accounts Payable Specialist to process accounting entries, scan statements, and identify unusual items. They will also assist with preparing Debit/Credit Memos, balance sheets, and other financial statements.

Responsibilities
  1. Transaction Processing: Assist in posting and processing accounting entries, including scanning statements and identifying unusual items.
  2. Document Control: Ensure that all supporting documents are available prior to processing payments.
  3. Financial Data Maintenance: Update financial data in databases to ensure accuracy and availability.
  4. Vendor Management: Maintain and update suppliers and vendors detail on the system to facilitate transaction review and processing.
  5. Employee Management: Review lists of terminated or resigned employees and ensure changes along with loan deductions are reflected accurately.
  6. Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit draft reports to support monthly/yearly closings.
Requirements

We require a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and at least 2 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
