Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning and Analysis:

Develop and implement financial plans, forecasts, and budgets to support business growth and strategic objectives.

Conduct financial analysis to identify areas for cost savings and process improvements.

2. Financial Reporting and Compliance:

Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations and accounting standards.

3. Project Accounting and Management:

Oversee project-specific accounting, tracking costs, revenues, and profit margins.

Work with project teams to ensure accurate job costing and financial reporting.

4. General Ledger Management:

Maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts.

Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.

5. Team Leadership and Development:

Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.

Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's or CPA preferred).

Minimum 7 years of experience in financial management roles, with a focus in the construction and manufacturing industry.

Proficiency in accounting software (ERP) and Microsoft Excel.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

Knowledge and Skills:

Knowledge of construction-specific accounting and project management software is an advantage.

Experience with banking facilities, import and export LCs, LGs, and bill discounting.
