Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior AvionX Procurement Specialist to join our team at Boeing. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for leading complex procurement projects from contract award through system requirements review, preliminary design review, critical design review, parts procurement, installation, testing, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional teams to negotiate and execute complex contracts and subcontracts.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Work with senior leaders/executives to communicate strategic plans and objectives.
  • Travel domestically and internationally as needed to support project requirements.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a supply chain or procurement related role, with a focus on complex procurement projects.
  • Experience working with supply chain management software (ERP, MRP, Epicor SCM or Oracle SCM, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to negotiate and execute complex contracts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field, such as business, supply chain management, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in a supply chain or procurement related role, with a focus on complex procurement projects.
  • Experience working with senior leaders/executives to communicate strategic plans and objectives.
  • Executive-level presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex information to senior stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field, such as business, supply chain management, or a related field.
Education and Experience

Typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master + 4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
