Job Title: Team Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our team at PrecisionHire Solutions. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing daily direction and communication to Patient Care staff, ensuring that customer service calls are answered in a timely, efficient, and knowledgeable manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Friendly, Quality Client Care: Ensure that patients receive exceptional care and service, addressing their needs and concerns in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Lead and Develop Patient Care Staff: Provide coaching, training, and feedback to Patient Care staff to enhance their skills and performance, ensuring they have the necessary resources to excel in their roles.
  • Continual Process Evaluation and Improvement: Regularly evaluate processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement, suggesting methods to enhance area operations, efficiency, and service to both customers and employees.
  • Statistical and Performance Feedback: Assist in providing statistical and performance feedback to team members, coaching them on a regular basis to ensure they meet performance expectations.
  • Employee Support and Counseling: Be available to employees who experience work-related or personal problems, providing appropriate counseling and support to help them overcome challenges.
  • Training and Resource Provision: Ensure that Patient Care staff have the necessary training and resources to perform their jobs effectively, addressing any gaps or deficiencies in their skills or knowledge.
  • Patient Relations Issues Resolution: Respond to and resolve patient relations issues expressed by team members, ensuring that concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.
  • Work Environment and Motivation: Create and maintain a high-quality work environment in the call center department, motivating team members to perform at their highest level.
  • Disciplinary and Performance Issues: Address disciplinary and performance problems according to company policy, ensuring that employees understand expectations and consequences.
  • Collaboration with Patient Relations Manager: Work closely with the Patient Relations Manager to manage the daily operation of the call center, including training, scheduling, and reward/recognition programs.
  • Special Projects and Process Improvement: Participate in special or ongoing projects that are important to area/process improvement, working collaboratively with team members to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Upward Communication and Judgment: Use appropriate judgment in upward communication regarding department or employee concerns, ensuring that issues are addressed promptly and professionally.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent degree is required.
  • Medical Terminology and Procedures: Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and diagnosis is essential.
  • Computer and Software Applications: Working knowledge of computer and relevant software applications is required.
  • General Administrative and Clerical Procedures: Knowledge of general administrative and clerical procedures is necessary.
  • Healthcare Insurance: Working knowledge of healthcare insurance is preferred.
