This is a contractual role with a duration of two years, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication
  2. Prepare and set up machinery for fabrication, including cutting, bending, and shaping steel
  3. Fabricate and assemble steel structures and architectural components to meet project requirements
  4. Weld components using different welding techniques to ensure strong and durable joints
  5. Inspect finished products for quality and compliance with specifications
  6. Repair and modify structures as needed to meet project requirements
  7. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to industry standards and regulations
  8. Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure project success and meet customer expectations
Requirements
  1. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a fabricator in architectural and structural steel
  2. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
  3. Strong knowledge of steel fabrication techniques and welding processes
  4. Experience with operating and maintaining fabrication machinery and tools
  5. Attention to detail and a focus on producing high-quality work
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  7. Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  8. Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a fabrication environment
