Responsibilities
  • Opening Procedure: Ensure the restaurant is set up according to our standards, including table settings and cleanliness.
  • Service Hours: Be present and available to greet guests during service hours.
  • Table Top Items: Ensure all table top items are clean and in good repair.
  • Seating Plan: Arrange the seating plan according to reservations and manager requirements.
  • Hostess Desk: Set up the hostess desk according to our standards.
  • Greeting Guests: Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner according to our standards.
  • Guest Relocation: Check cleanliness of chair/sofa cushions and host guests for seating relocation according to our standards.
  • Assisting Service: Assist with service as required according to our standards.
  • Telephone Bookings: Handle all telephone bookings and inquiries in accordance with our standards.
  • Guest Comments: Ensure the Restaurant Manager and Assistant Restaurant Manager are kept informed of all guest comments and complaints.
  • Closing Procedure: During the closing procedure, ensure all tabletop items are collected and cleaned as per our standards.
  • Menu and Collateral: Ensure all menus, drinks list, and guest collateral items are kept clean and undamaged according to our standards.
  • Guest History: Assist Restaurant Manager in maintaining all guest history records.
  • Communication: Attend communication meetings, briefings, and training sessions as required by the Restaurant Manager and Food and Beverage Manager.
  • Uniform and Grooming: Keep the uniform neat and clean and ensure personal grooming and hygiene are in line with our standards.
Requirements
  • Experience: Experience in Food and Beverage department and/or industry.
  • Communication Skills: Great communication skills, warm and inviting personality.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to learn open-mindedly, to work with a flexible schedule and respond positively to changing requirements.
  • Customer Service: Committed to delivering high levels of customer service.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.
