This exciting opportunity allows you to work on varied projects and clients while being part of a team that champions excellence and achievement.
Key Responsibilities- Lead small design teams to provide efficient and compliant deliverables with high quality standards.
- Develop transportation strategies and studies, considering emerging trends in transportation and mobility.
- Monitor project budgets and schedules; take necessary actions to achieve financial targets.
- Review client briefs (RFPs) and respond with tailored proposals.
- Liaise with local authorities and stakeholders for approvals and coordination.
- Coordinate with other masterplan disciplines for integrated solutions.
- Prepare transport strategy documents, including drawings and design team support throughout the project life-cycle.
- Represent the company in technical meetings, supervise junior staff, and provide technical guidance.
- Bachelor's degree in Transportation and Civil Engineering or MSc in Transport Planning/Civil Engineering.
- Experience in delivering projects in the UAE and region is preferred.
- Demonstrable experience in leading studies and multi-disciplinary teams for integrated outcomes.
- Liaising with Government Authorities and Municipality Departments for approvals.
- A strong local contact base with developers and government agencies.
- Experience with strategic and micro-simulation modelling packages.
- Competency in operational and junction modelling software like Synchro, HCS, and Sidra.
- Chartered Membership to a professional institution affiliated with the transportation sector is advantageous.
- Arabic speaking skills are advantageous.
- Making sound judgments on complex issues and working independently.
