About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Middle East Compliance Officer to join our team at Alpago Group.

Main Responsibilities
  • Stay updated on the local, federal, and regional laws and regulations affecting the real estate and construction industry in the UAE.
  • Advise the company on UAE-specific compliance issues, including zoning and land use regulations, environmental regulations, and construction safety standards.
  • Identify legal risks specific to the UAE market and provide proactive solutions to minimize potential liabilities.
  • Develop and implement UAE-specific risk management strategies to protect the company's interests.
Requirements
  • Law degree from an accredited law school and active membership in a relevant bar association.
  • 5 years of relevant experience in real estate and construction law in the UAE.
  • In-depth knowledge of UAE laws and regulations related to real estate development, construction, and contracting.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
Working Conditions

This role may require regular interaction with local governmental and regulatory authorities.
