Job Overview

AECOM is currently seeking an experienced ES&H Compliance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with ES&H standards and regulatory requirements across various construction projects.

About the Role
  • This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 15 years of direct onsite safety management experience and health and safety practices.
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Construction Projects and Design-Build and Progressive Delivery experience.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining expert knowledge of specific government agency requirements and utilizing advanced techniques and diversified knowledge of environmental principles.
  • Assignments are usually self-initiated, and you will use independent judgment and discretion in data analysis and problem resolution.
Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with ES&H standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of specific government agency requirements.
  • Utilize advanced techniques and diversified knowledge of environmental principles.
  • Investigate accidents, injuries, and complaints concerning hazards in the workplace.
  • Provide regulatory interpretation and technical advice.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree/Certification required.
  • Diploma/certificate in health and safety or equivalent training and experience.
  • Extensive experience in Construction Projects.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to examine incidents and problems, detect root causes, and resolve issues.
  • Supervisory experience will also be strongly preferred to be considered.
