VHR Global Technical Recruitment is a leading technical recruitment company headquartered in London. We supply contract and permanent technical and professional staff to our clients within the Aerospace & Aviation, F1 & Automotive, Civils & Infrastructure, and Marine sectors.

We currently employ 70 members of staff across our 10 offices globally and have a strong presence in key markets.

The Role

This fixed-term contract opportunity is based in Abu Dhabi and offers an individual the chance to start a fast-paced and exciting career with excellent prospects and financial reward.

You will be responsible for supporting various aspects of our financial operations, including purchase and sales ledger management, bank and account reconciliation, and credit control.

  • Posting purchase invoices to our accounting applications
  • Raising sales invoices on our accounting applications
  • Submission of sales invoices to customers
  • Management of Petty Cash
  • Company Credit Card and Petty Cash Reconciliation
  • Posting supplier payments to our online banking system
  • Registering and updating customer and supplier information on our systems
  • Support Bank and Account Reconciliation
  • Support Credit Control function where required
  • Processing internal staff and contractors' expenses
  • Note and report discrepancies found in records

You will also provide exceptional customer service, face-to-face meetings with Relationship Managers, and handle all queries from contractors, suppliers, and clients.

Candidate Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  1. A minimum of 2 years' experience working in Accounts payable department
  2. Professional communication skills and a presentable demeanor
  3. Strong mathematical skills
  4. Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  5. Self-motivation and organisational skills
  6. Excellent customer service experience
  7. Fluency in English, both written and spoken
  8. Experience of Microsoft Dynamics NAV, RSM InTime, and Sage Intacct is desirable but not essential
