Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pool & Beach Attendant to join our team at Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort. As a key member of the Spa & Recreation Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our pool and beach areas, providing exceptional guest service, and contributing to the overall success of our resort.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Pool and Beach Maintenance
  • Ensure the pool and beach areas are clean and well-maintained, adhering to hotel standards and procedures.
  • Keep all equipment clean, tidy, and well-maintained, including proper and secure storage.
  • Have a complete understanding of cleaning products and their use.
Guest Service
  • Attend to guests' requests courteously and promptly.
  • Ensure guests enjoy their stay by offering the finest personal service.
  • Escort guests rather than pointing out directions.
Lost and Found
  • Hand over lost and found items with detailed information to the Recreation Supervisor and Housekeeping.
Reporting and Compliance
  • Report any damaged or missing items to the Recreation Supervisor and Assistant Manager.
  • Report any guest comments or complaints.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Ensure guest amenities in the pool and beach areas are complete and up to standards.
  • Sort and count dirty linen items before sending to laundry.
  • Sort waste.
  • Handle hotel equipment and supplies with care.
  • Responsible for the set-up and cleanliness of pool and beach loungers.
  • Responsible for cleaning and restocking guest lockers daily.
  • Ensure corridors are kept clean and free of obstacles.
  • Contribute to the hotel's environmental commitments.
  • Be flexible and adapt to rotate within the Spa & Recreation Department.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by the Recreation Supervisor and Assistant Manager.
