About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Instrumentation Systems Specialist to join our team at Unilever. As an Instrumentation Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for the assembly, installation, removal, replacement, disassembly, test functionality and operability, maintenance and repair of instrumentation systems and their associated system components.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Strong knowledge of automation and control systems for troubleshooting and basics of electrical and power systems.
  2. Ability to read and interpret relevant engineering drawings, specifications, quality standards and equipment manuals.
  3. Follow work instructions and relevant plans and schedules.
  4. Strong technical knowledge of pressure, flow, temperature, measurement and control systems.
  5. Experience of working on DCS, drives and PLC.
  6. Understanding and troubleshooting/implementation of legal, safety and quality related interlocks in systems.
  7. Involve in evaluation of instrument performance to identify optimization and enhancement opportunities.
  8. Development, execution, and maintenance of preventive maintenance systems for plantwide instrumentation and control hardware and software systems.
  9. Understanding of UMS methodologies and its implementation in routine activities.
  10. Good communication skills and teamwork.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  2. 3-5 years in similar role, preferably in FMCG industry.
  3. Project management experience of Computerized Maintenance Management system CMMS.
  4. Excellent analytical skills.
  5. Ability to analyze large quantities of data quickly to identify correlations and trends.
  6. Expert knowledge in Microsoft Excel and PBI.
  7. Able to build models for failure analysis, efficient improvement and energy predictions.
  8. Ability to present information and trends to management in an understanding and action-oriented way.
  9. FMCG background is a plus.
