Position Summary

The Marketing Specialist at Banyan Tree will be integral in assisting with the formulation and implementation of our marketing initiatives and promotional activities. This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including performing market analysis, crafting engaging content, managing campaigns, and evaluating performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the creation and execution of the overall marketing plan for the organization.
  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis to uncover trends and define target demographics.
  • Develop, edit, and oversee marketing content (including social media updates, newsletters, and website copy).
  • Collaborate with marketing, public relations, and social media teams, as well as designers and content developers, to create impactful marketing materials.
  • Maintain and organize marketing databases utilizing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
  • Monitor and assess campaign effectiveness, reporting on critical metrics through data analysis tools (such as website traffic and lead generation).
  • Assist in planning and executing events (including media gatherings, campaign rollouts, and trade exhibitions).

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Preferred Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in marketing or a similar field.
  • Solid grasp of marketing concepts and industry best practices.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Fluent in English, with proficiency in additional languages considered an asset.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with social media marketing tools and platforms.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS).
  • Proficient in utilizing AI tools.
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
