Procurement Specialist for Global Auto Spare Parts

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Desert Face Trading LLC, a renowned automobile spare parts trading company based in Jebel Ali, Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the same field and be ready to start immediately.

About the Role:

As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing the Procure-to-Pay process, maintaining local master data, and developing sourcing strategies to optimize costs and ensure reliable supply chains.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Procure-to-Pay Process Management: Assist in generating, validating, and maintaining SAP Purchase Orders according to business needs.
  • Liaising with PMI Procurement Centers: Maintain and update local master data regarding regional/global frame contracts to be used.
  • Data Maintenance: Impute and maintain data in procurement-related tools and applications.
  • Sourcing Strategies: Develop and recommend specific sourcing scenarios based on spend analysis findings, extensive knowledge of relevant supply markets, and consolidated business requirements.
  • Risk Assessment and Contingency Planning: Assess and measure potential risks' exposures (supply, financial, image/reputation) and establish contingency plans to prevent and/or mitigate their impacts accordingly to risk management strategies defined by Procurement functions.
  • Budget Cycle Support: Support Procurement Manager to determine price forecasts for budget cycles.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Monitor customer (internal) and vendor (external) compliance with procurement Principles & Practices within the assigned category group(s).
  • Negotiations and Contract Review: Negotiate and review long-term contracts with suppliers to ensure optimum cost and reliable supply.
  • New Supplier Sourcing: Source and on-board potential new suppliers where required, and follow correct procedures and documentation when engaging suppliers.
  • Contract Management: Ensure that all assigned supplier contracts are up to date and electronic and paper copies are stored appropriately.
Salary Information:

The estimated annual salary for this role is approximately AED 120,000 - AED 180,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
