Job Title: Specialist HSE Technical Safety

Are you a highly skilled professional with a passion for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment? Do you have a strong background in health, safety, and environment (HSE) management? We are seeking a talented Specialist HSE Technical Safety to join our team at ADNOC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and Evaluate Work Environments: Conduct thorough assessments of work environments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Design and Implement Safety Programs: Develop and implement safety programs and procedures to control and prevent disease or injury caused by chemical, physical, and biological agents or ergonomic factors.
  • Conduct Inspections and Enforce Compliance: Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to laws and regulations governing the health and safety of individuals, and enforce compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Supervise and Develop Team Members: Supervise and develop the skills of assigned personnel in the unit, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and expertise to perform their duties effectively.
  • Develop and Implement Environmental Management Systems: Develop and implement Environmental Management Systems (EMS) to ensure project performance is in compliance with HSE Impact Assessment (HSEIA & EIA) Codes, HSEIA Guidelines, and Project-specific HSEIA Report recommendations.
  • Review and Endorse Safety Documents: Review and endorse safety documents submitted by consultants, ensuring they meet company requirements and standards.
  • Participate in Hazop and Environmental Studies: Participate in Hazop, environmental, and safety studies, accident investigations, and other report reviews for all projects.
  • Lead and Coordinate Resources: Lead and coordinate resources for the implementation of all ADNOC guidelines and Codes of Practice related to Health, Safety, and Environment.
  • Provide Guidance and Support: Provide guidance and support to construction and commissioning at site on safety and environmental matters.
  • Ensure Compliance with Regulations: Ensure that state-of-the-art technology is applied in the selection of safety equipment, and both local and other statutory regulations are applied in the projects.
