About this role

This job involves managing the shop floor to ensure sales and operational activities run smoothly.

Main Accountabilities
  • Support the team in building lasting client relationships, utilising available clienteling tools.
  • Help the team adopt a client-focused approach.
  • Ensure the team has thorough product knowledge.
  • Work closely with store management to meet business objectives, projects and initiatives (e.g. reporting, sales analysis, product training)
  • Supervise the shop floor effectively to ensure maximum floor coverage during busy trading times.
  • Lead by example, showcasing sales leadership to the team.
Key Operational Activities
  • Manage and direct store opening and closing procedures, including handling cash, making bank deposits, opening and closing tills and securing the premises.
  • Process all point-of-sale transactions accurately and efficiently, and manage inventory activities like stock transfers, receipt, repair and disposal to maintain stock integrity.
  • Adhere to loss prevention policies and operational protocols.
Performance Standards
  • Consistently deliver high performance across all responsibilities.
  • Resolve customer complaints, exchanges and queries promptly.
  • Liaise between employees and management around any performance-related matters.
  • Develop and implement solutions to improve store processes and organisational effectiveness.
  • Train the team on sales strategy, personal sales targets and key performance indicators.
