Key Responsibilities:

  • Estimate Preparation: Develop and maintain accurate and detailed estimates for projects, ensuring that all costs are accounted for and that the project is within budget.
  • Tender Management: Manage the tender process, including interpreting specifications, pricing tenders, and preparing contract documents.
  • Cost Control: Conduct estimation and cost control activities to ensure that projects are delivered within budget and that any cost overruns are minimized.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the sales team to prioritize bid submissions and with the production team to align timelines and ensure that projects are delivered on time.
  • Supplier Management: Maintain a database of suppliers and seek out new companies to include on the tender list.
  • Cost Efficiency: Identify cost-efficient alternatives for project scopes and develop bid cost estimates.
