**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Review and analyze BOQs, budgets, specifications, and drawings for new awarded tenders to produce a comprehensive procurement list.
  • Develop and maintain a controlled framework to ensure that all procurement activities are managed efficiently and in accordance with Contract Standing Orders, Procurement and Financial Regulations.
  • Develop and review procurement strategies covering key business areas, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Implement SAP applications to streamline procurement processes and eliminate backlogs.
  • Establish a process for reviewing contracts, supplies, and suppliers to ensure maximum value for money is achieved through supplier rationalization and approved supplier lists.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure best value for money and client satisfaction.
  • Identify and address areas of concern promptly, taking remedial action as necessary.
  • Monitor trends in supplier and contract bases, proposing and implementing plans to respond to such trends.
  • Develop and maintain a database of products and suppliers within the relevant industry.
  • Regularly follow up with internal and external teams on all purchases.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels for the company.

**Requirements:**

  • Strong understanding of procurement principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP applications.
