Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Acquisition Finance Analyst to join our team at Michael Page. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of Leveraged Buyout (LBO) deals, providing strategic recommendations to senior management, and collaborating with clients and stakeholders to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deal Management: Effectively manage a portfolio of LBO deals, including agency roles as needed, to ensure timely and profitable execution.
  • Strategic Analysis: Detect underperforming assets early and propose strategic recommendations to senior management to optimize portfolio performance.
  • Client Collaboration: Collaborate with clients, credit teams, and syndicate banks to provide day-to-day control and support for new investments in LBO and Corporate Cross-Over deals.
  • Deal Process Support: Contribute to various deal processes, including financial modeling, credit and legal analysis, and presentations to relevant committees.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and enhance relationships with key portfolio clients, working closely with middle and back offices to ensure accurate and timely management of loan facilities and compliance processes.
  • Operational Support: Provide credit and operational support, and offer general assistance to team members as needed.

Requirements

  • Experience: Experience in the European Leveraged Finance market or a similar credit-related area.
  • Numerical Skills: Highly numerical and capable of building and using cash flow models.
  • Credit Skills: Credit skills with exposure to a wide range of business sectors across all relevant European jurisdictions.
  • CFA Qualification: CFA qualification is recommended.
