Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer to join our team at S&P Global. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-stack development, with expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable full-stack solutions using a range of technologies, including JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, and server-side programming languages such as .Net, Java, Ruby, and Python.
  • Work with databases and caching mechanisms, including SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, and Redis, to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate APIs and develop data pipelines.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality front-end code using React Js, Next.js, Angular, Node.js, jQuery, and LESS.
  • Contribute to the design and development of UI/UX solutions, including basic front-end prototyping.
  • Work with Nginx or Apache servers and have a solid background in Linux.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with demonstrated technical and business acumen, and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience as a full-stack engineer, architect, or engineer with core hands-on experience.
  • 4+ years of experience integrating, evaluating, deploying, and operationalizing scalable full-stack and web-application solutions and APIs at speed and scale.
  • 5+ years of experience with front-end technologies, including JavaScript, CSS3, and HTML5, and third-party libraries such as React Js, Next.js, Angular, Node.js, jQuery, and LESS.
  • 5+ years of experience with development languages, including .Net, Java, Ruby, and Python.
  • 5+ years of experience with databases and caching mechanisms, including SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, and Redis.
  • 3+ years of basic UI/UX design ability, including knowledge of UI/UX and basic front-end prototyping.
  • 5+ years of experience working with Nginx or Apache servers and having a solid background in Linux.
