About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team at S&P Global. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable full-stack and web-application solutions and APIs at speed and scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop full-stack solutions using cloud-native technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and deploy scalable solutions
  • Develop and maintain high-quality front-end and back-end code
  • Ensure seamless integration with enterprise applications and APIs
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience as a full-stack engineer, architect, or engineer with core hands-on experience
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in integrating, evaluating, deploying, and operationalizing scalable full-stack and web-application solutions and APIs
  • 5+ years of experience with front-end technologies, including JavaScript, CSS3, and HTML5
  • 5+ years of experience with development languages, including .Net, Java, Ruby, and Python
  • 5+ years of experience with databases and cache, including DBMS technology and caching mechanisms
  • 3+ years of basic UI/UX design ability, including knowledge of UI/UX and basic front-end prototype design
  • 5+ years of experience working with Nginx or Apache servers with a solid background in Linux
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Ability to visualize a proposed system involving API integration with back-end and data pipelines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strategic thinker and influencer with demonstrated technical and business acumen and problem-solving skills
