Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to take on the role of Lead Strategist for Mergers and Acquisitions at MatchaTalent. This position involves a comprehensive approach to evaluating and executing strategic business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Due Diligence: Conduct thorough investigations into various facets of target firms, collaborating with pertinent internal teams.
  • Valuation Analysis: Assess the worth of potential acquisitions utilizing diverse methodologies, while reviewing the business plans of these entities.
  • Proposal Management: Independently manage business propositions, formulate Non-Binding Offers (NBO), and devise negotiation strategies, ensuring these are accurately represented in term sheets.
  • Transaction Oversight: Oversee all phases of transaction execution, including the selection and collaboration with advisors.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate effective communication and management of all stakeholders, including internal teams, consultants, and prospective partners.
  • Investor Relations: Prepare initial offerings for potential investors, lead the selection process, and coordinate with subject matter experts to create Memorandums of Understanding and Letters of Intent.
  • Legal Documentation: Provide guidance in the formulation and assessment of legal documents such as heads of terms, cost-sharing agreements, and shareholder agreements.
  • Compliance and Approvals: Ensure adherence to process stage gates and approvals, managing contract payments and variations within designated limits.
  • Support Functions: Assist the legal department with anti-trust clearance processes and support internal teams during post-acquisition integration.
  • Additional Duties: Undertake other responsibilities as assigned.

This role is essential for driving the strategic growth of MatchaTalent through effective mergers and acquisitions.
