Job Title: Corporate Legal Officer

At Tazweed Employment Services, we are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Legal Officer to join our team. As a key member of our legal department, you will be responsible for providing legal support and guidance to our business operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract Management: Develop and implement effective contract management strategies to ensure compliance with legal standards and company policies.
  • Legal Research: Conduct thorough research on relevant legal issues, industry regulations, and precedents to support legal decisions and strategies.
  • Mergers and Acquisitions: Assist in due diligence processes for M&A transactions, including gathering and organizing legal documents and conducting preliminary assessments.
  • Corporate Governance: Support the maintenance of corporate records, prepare board meeting materials, and ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements.
  • Document Management: Develop and maintain an organized system for storing and retrieving legal documents, contracts, and correspondence.
  • Legal Compliance: Monitor changes in laws and regulations affecting our operations and assist in ensuring compliance.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the legal team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, or a related field. Certification as a paralegal is a plus.
  • Proven experience of 3-5 years working as a paralegal Officer or in a similar legal support role in Corporate Law and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A).
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, commercial agreements, and legal terminology.
  • Familiarity with the additive manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism in handling confidential information.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with copyright law and sales contracts will be an added advantage.
