Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our mechanical plant, including HVAC, air quality control, and refrigeration equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect, repair, and maintain HVAC, air quality control, and refrigeration equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Maintain and conduct daily inspections of the mechanical plant to identify and address any issues or concerns.
  • Monitor and control property temperature to ensure a comfortable environment for our guests and staff.
  • Monitor and analyze energy and utilities usage to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Calibrate all controls, gauges, meters, and other equipment to ensure accurate readings and optimal performance.
  • Assemble, install, test, repair, and maintain electrical systems or electronic wiring to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Assemble, install, and maintain pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, and other equipment to ensure leak-free and efficient operation.
  • Perform routine pool and spa maintenance to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests.
Requirements
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure work environment.
  • Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries to management immediately.
  • Complete safety training and certifications as required.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional at all times.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards and anticipate and address their service needs.
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language at all times.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and listen and respond appropriately to their concerns.
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards and identify, recommend, develop, and implement new ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost-savings.
