Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our facilities department at ITP Media Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preserving the excellent condition and functionality of our business premises.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and Maintain Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify any issues or potential problems.
  • Repair and Maintain Equipment: Repair faulty equipment units and damaged structures, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure everything is in good working order.
  • Develop Preventative Maintenance Procedures: Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures to prevent equipment failures and reduce downtime.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Maintain accurate records of equipment and supplies, and ensure that all necessary materials are on hand.
  • Perform General Maintenance Tasks: Perform general maintenance tasks such as landscaping, painting, and carpentry as needed.
Requirements:
  • Certification and Experience: A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role, and a certificate in building maintenance or electrical work is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques, including plumbing and electrical systems.
  • Communication and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to effectively problem-solve and prioritize tasks.
  • Physical Demands: Physically capable and available to work overtime, including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.
