About the Role
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, ensuring seamless administrative support, and maintaining accurate records.
  • This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to develop their skills in medical terminology, procedures, and diagnosis, as well as general administrative procedures.
Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule appointments, obtain necessary information from clients, and prepare required forms in advance of client arrival.
  • Check and greet clients in a professional manner, making new appointments or noting changes in patient status as necessary.
  • Assist in updating client files, follow up with clients when indicated, and perform various clerical duties.
  • Facilitate patient flow by notifying providers of patients' arrival, being aware of delays, and communicating with patients and clinical staff.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent degree.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and diagnosis.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare insurance preferred.
