Key Responsibilities
  1. Procurement Support

Assist in all non-project procurement transactions in collaboration with the line manager, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Scope Development

Develop procurement-related scope templates (consultants and contractors) and associated documentation to ensure compliance with market requirements and lessons learned.

Communication and Issue Resolution

Effectively communicate oral and written resolution of issues with internal and external partners, ensuring timely and cost-effective resolution.

Process Improvement

Apply established procedures, policies, and standards with little or no supervisory guidance, identifying opportunities for sourcing and cost savings.

Vendor Management

Ensure all vendors are providing cost-effective value-added services, periodically reviewing and evaluating all contracts to identify saving and synergies strategies.

Sourcing and Negotiation

Assist in the sourcing of competitive suppliers as per Teyaseer standards, negotiating with vendors and suppliers to obtain the best techno-commercial values.

Procurement Process Facilitation

Facilitate the procurement process, liaising between external vendors and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of products and services.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Observe cross-functional responsibilities with finance payment processes, ERP system enhancement, legal review, and audit recommendations.

Vendor Performance Review

Assist in vendor management processes and vendor performance review through periodic assessment to ensure quality suppliers.

Procurement Policy Development

Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of procurement policies, participating in regular reviews to ensure relevance and conformance with best practices and compliance with internal and regulatory policies.

Requirements
  1. Experience

Minimum 4+ years of experience in Procurement/Supply Chain/Vendor management within the UAE or Middle East region.

Sector Experience

Real estate sector/Construction/Procurement.

Technical and Interpersonal Skills

Good knowledge and experience working with local Design Consultants and Contractors, understanding of Vendor Pre-qualification process and best practices with specific relevance in the housing sector.

Language Skills

Must be able to read, write, and speak Arabic.

Qualifications

Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Engineering, Procurement, or Operations Management, CIPS certification preferred, UAE National preferred.
