About the Role

The ideal candidate will lead the development and execution of a corporate sales strategy to maximize revenue and profit for commercial products across the UAE in the East Arabia Division. This role will be responsible for achieving the SME Products P&L objectives and supporting or leading specific regional expert sales initiatives that support MasterCard's East Arabia business and revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute a corporate sales strategy to maximize revenue and profit for commercial products across the UAE in the East Arabia Division.
  2. Lead accountability for achieving the SME Products P&L objectives.
  3. Support or lead specific regional expert sales initiatives that support MasterCard's East Arabia business and revenue goals.
  4. Identify business and product innovation opportunities from SME payment segments.
  5. Provide subject matter expertise and end-to-end project management/delivery by liaising with cross-functional partners.

Requirements

  1. Deep knowledge and understanding of SME products and services (SME Card), with significant experience in sales and business development within the SME space and relevant tertiary qualifications.
  2. Progressive business experience, with a strong track record in the payments industry and deep knowledge of consumer payments.
  3. Strong account management experience - ability to understand customer and constituent needs, marketplace dynamics, industry trends, and the competitive landscape.
  4. Strong project and relationship management skills - extensive experience and a proven track record of managing simultaneous initiatives, multiple stakeholders in a multicultural environment, across multiple geographic locations, solving problems, and applying effective planning skills to deliver multiple initiatives with external and internal clients.
  5. Strong negotiating and influencing skills, with the ability to execute through others who do not report directly.
  6. High preference for action-results driven and with a disciplined approach to deliver sales targets.
  7. Strong analytical and team working skills - ability to identify issues and proactively resolve issues directly or through escalation to appropriate Partners/stakeholders.
  8. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills-excellent writing and presentation skills-extensive experience in communicating in an international environment at senior management level.
