Job Title: Food and Beverage Coordinator

Join our team as a Food and Beverage Coordinator at Dusit Thani Abu Dhabi, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our F&B outlets. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing F&B guest data, and supporting the Director of Food and Beverages.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Director of Food and Beverages in the day-to-day administration of F&B guest data and related communications.
  • Receive, welcome, and escort VIP guests to F&B outlets, ensuring their experience is memorable by communicating client-specific requirements to Outlet Managers/Chefs.
  • Direct all VIP bookings/communication to respective Outlet Managers and ensure that service rendered corresponds to client requirements.
  • Prepare an up-to-date list of F&B guest data with any special preferences, number of visits, etc.
  • Manage communications, draft correspondence, and other business memoranda, create presentations, proofread, edit, and format business documents, schedules meetings, and coordinates F&B administrative functions for the Director of F&B.
  • Arrange and schedule appointments, organize paperwork, handle travel arrangements, order office supplies, and manage information access through the use of telephones, mail, and electronic messaging.
  • Compose correspondence for the Director of F&B operations, such as welcome letters, guest follow-up letters, etc.
  • Keep the filing system up-to-date, including all retail files. Maintain a trace file and bring forward daily items to act on appropriate tasks.
  • Support the flow of work and dissemination of information within the Division & externally.
  • Schedule departmental meetings, take and distribute minutes, and arrange/attend sub-committee meetings as required.
  • Assist and support staff events as appropriate, such as leadership meetings, executive retreat, staff receptions, etc.
  • Check and ensure the timely submission of all work assigned by the Director of F&B to Outlet Managers & Head Chefs.
  • Administer personnel action, on leaves, overtime requests, disciplinary actions, and commendation.
  • Prepare payroll on a daily basis for departmental staff and prepare the departmental roster under the Director of F&B supervision.
  • Communicate openly with service personnel and keep them informed of all important information to assist them in their jobs.
Requirements:
  • Reports to the Director of Food and Beverages.
  • Coordinates with other outlet heads and Kitchen section heads for F&B operation.
  • Minimum education of Bachelor degree in any discipline.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years in secretarial, administrative experience. Exposure in F&B operation or hospitality business is desirable.
  • Computer literate and ability to use other office equipment.
  • Have good English communication skills both in written and spoken.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and possess a pleasant personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
