Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to join our team at Delta World Charter. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial operations, including managing cash flow, preparing financial reports, and analyzing financial data.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with experience in financial management reporting. They will also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day finance and accounts operations
  • Prepare full set of accounts and ensure timely closing of accounts
  • Perform job cost forecasts/budgets, cost tracking, monitoring and controls
  • Responsible for timely monthly consolidated financial statements, payments, cash-flow management reporting for submission to HQ in Dubai
  • Perform cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and working closely with the sales team and business managers in analyzing margins, variances, and costs
  • Ensure the Company has sufficient financial reserves to meet all its contracted liabilities
  • Establish and maintain systems for cost-sensitivity analysis and early-warning of cost-overruns
  • Work consultatively with the CEO and respective departments on policy and procedures

Requirements:

  • Internationally recognized qualification in accounting
  • Possesses a strong knowledge and skills in the application of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)
  • Capable of both cash-based and accruals-based accounting practices
  • 5 + years of experience including financial management reporting
  • Proficiency with accounting tools, Google Docs, Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and Power Point, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written in English, possession of other language skills will be an advantage
