Job Description

The Project Director will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring that their objectives are met and projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality, sustainability, and safety standards.

We are seeking a highly motivated and self-driven individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills who is passionate about making a positive impact on the Project Management division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a suite of governance, communication, and management control systems to ensure the successful delivery of client projects.
  • Review and recommend organizational structures to ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Monitor team performance and initiate safety and performance improvement measures as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with management systems and report on any deviations.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and assign and manage mitigations as necessary.
  • Conduct regular technical and progress meetings with stakeholders.
  • Manage client stage gateway reviews and attainment of conditions precedent to approvals.
  • Oversee the delivery of design stage outputs to schedule and quality, concurrent with fast-track works package procurements and associated permitting and approvals requirements.
  • Regularly visit project sites to review health, safety, security, logistics, and progress against the program.
  • Prepare and submit project progress reports against baseline and milestone dates, and agreed project-wide KPIs.
  • Manage and administer relevant contracts to protect client interests.
Requirements
  • Degree in engineering, construction management, or an equivalent technical qualification.
  • Minimum 10-15 years of project management experience.
  • Recognized project management qualification.
  • Membership or chartership of a recognized professional industry body, such as RICS/CIOB.
  • Ideal experience in the Middle East/GCC region.
