Job Description

The Mohammed bin Rashid School of Government seeks a highly skilled Institutional Effectiveness Manager to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing institutional effectiveness activities in coordination with the Director of Planning & Institutional Effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with the Department Director to develop and implement quality assurance initiatives that enhance the School's academic and administrative services.
  2. Prepare the School for accreditation by communicating, training, and raising awareness among stakeholders.
  3. Coordinate all aspects of academic accreditation with the Ministry of Education and other relevant accreditation initiatives.
  4. Support the Department Director in designing, administering, and analyzing surveys related to institutional effectiveness.
  5. Assist the Department Director in budget preparation and budget information.
  6. Plan and conduct internal quality audits to promote continuous improvement and compliance with regulations and best practices.
  7. Work closely with the Department Director to review and update policies and procedures.
  8. Prepare reports, such as the Fact-book, to meet regulatory requirements and internal stakeholder needs.
  9. Ensure the Institutional Effectiveness unit provides accurate management information and statistics for the School and supports data-driven decision-making.
  10. Conduct business analysis by collecting and evaluating data to identify areas for improvement.
  11. Support units in their self-assessment activities to highlight gaps and barriers to excellence.
  12. Conduct feasibility studies to research key development drivers and risks facing the School's business.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's Degree or higher in Quality Management, preferably with a professional Quality Management Certification like ISO.
  2. At least 5 years of experience in quality assurance and institutional effectiveness in the higher education sector.
