  • Engage with clients and contractor personnel to clarify and confirm project specifications.

  • Conduct geological evaluations, including soil compaction, moisture assessment, aggregate analysis, concrete slump testing, air entrainment measurements, concrete strength tests, alignment surveys, bolt torque assessments, and concrete coring.
  • Oversee general inspections of all construction activities and subcontracted operations to guarantee high-quality workmanship.
  • Assess equipment alignment and balancing procedures.
  • Undertake additional tasks related to this role as required.
  • Receive material inspection requests from contractors, evaluate civil materials delivered to the site, and report on compliance with quantity and technical specifications.
  • Prepare and finalize necessary documentation prior to the inspection of work and process accordingly upon completion.
  • Maintain comprehensive records regarding the execution of construction activities and monitor progress as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to project quality control protocols during construction supervision and identify areas for enhancement.
  • Regularly communicate site progress information.
  • Execute any other duties as assigned by team leadership.
  • Coordinate efforts to ensure the successful handover of the project.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Geological Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in geotechnical inspection for marine projects.
  • Proficient in utilizing relevant software applications.
  • Experience in the GCC region is preferred.
