About the Role:

The Section Manager - Retail Operations will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the retail section, ensuring that all standards in stock, display, and service are met. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain the section's appearance and ensure that products are properly stocked and displayed.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Visual Merchandising: Maintain the display of the section, ensuring that it is stocked properly, arranged, and sorted.
  2. Inventory Management: Ensure that the right barcodes and price labels are correctly placed on all products throughout the section.
  3. Warehouse Operations: Arrange the warehouse order based on expiry dates to ensure that products are transferred to the floor efficiently.
  4. Stock Accuracy: Participate in stock take and be responsible for stock accuracy by arranging and labeling stock correctly.
  5. Inventory Adjustments: Activate manual in manual out stock adjustments weekly to ensure wastage and shrinkage numbers are updated and highlighted with approvals.
  6. Communication: Timely brief the staff about new promotions, offers, and new product arrivals.
  7. Section Maintenance: Coordinate with the decoration team to ensure that the section is properly decorated as per the set plan.
  8. Hygiene and Safety: Ensure that the hygiene of the section is always well maintained during the day.
