Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Sushi Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at Four Seasons Hotels And Resorts. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality sushi dishes to our discerning guests.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Prepare and present a variety of sushi dishes, including nigiri, sashimi, maki, and specialty rolls, with attention to detail and presentation.

  2. Ensure all sushi is prepared to the highest standard of quality, freshness, and taste, maintaining consistency in flavor and appearance.

  3. Oversee the selection and preparation of fresh ingredients, including fish, rice, vegetables, and garnishes. Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management.

  4. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work station, adhering to health and safety regulations and kitchen cleanliness standards.

  5. Work closely with the Head Chef, Sous Chef, and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service.

  6. Assist in training junior kitchen staff in sushi preparation techniques and proper handling of ingredients and equipment.

  7. Contribute to menu planning and development, bringing creative ideas and suggestions for new sushi dishes and presentations.

  8. Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any special requests or dietary restrictions and providing an exceptional dining experience.
