Key Responsibilities

As a key member of our culinary team at Rotana Hotels & Resorts, the Kitchen Steward will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in our food processing facilities, storage rooms, and kitchen areas.

  1. Cleanliness and Sanitation: Ensure that all food processing facilities, storage rooms, walk-in fridges, kitchen utensils, immediate corridors, and holding areas are cleaned and sanitized to the highest standards.
  2. Team Collaboration: Work closely with all kitchen and service employees to ensure seamless communication and coordination in the kitchen.
  3. Shift Operations: Work as per duty schedule and shifts, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  4. Task Execution: Perform all stewarding tasks as per given instructions, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards.
  5. Waste Reduction: Ensure minimum wastage, breakage, and spoilage of food and kitchen supplies.

Requirements:

You should ideally have a vocational training in food & beverage with previous experience as a Kitchen Steward. Command of English is essential.
