  1. Develop and Implement HSE Plans: Design and implement comprehensive HSE plans, welfare plans, emergency response procedures, and site-specific HSE procedures and work instructions.
  2. Lead HSE Team: Lead a team of HSE personnel, including HSE officers, transport coordinators, and hygiene officers, to ensure effective HSE management.
  3. Conduct Audits and Inspections: Conduct regular HSE audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  4. Investigate Incidents: Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  5. Communicate Effectively: Communicate HSE policies, procedures, and best practices to employees, contractors, and stakeholders.
  6. Stay Up-to-Date with Regulations: Stay current with changing HSE regulations, industry standards, and best practices to ensure our operations remain compliant and safe.

Requirements:

  1. Professional Qualifications: Minimum one of the following: NEBOSH IGC or Equivalent with any other HSE certifications.
  2. Work Experience: Minimum 4-5 years' experience in HSE in construction, fabrication, installation, and/or commissioning projects/operations in the oil & gas industry.
  3. Skills and Competencies:
    1. Strong understanding of HSE issues, practices, and behavioral aspects in the oil & gas industry.
    2. Able to lead a team of HSE personnel.
    3. Sound understanding of the HSE Management System and HSE legislative requirements.
    4. Ability to develop and implement HSE plans, welfare plans, emergency response procedures/plans, and site-specific HSE procedures/work instructions.
    5. Practical experience in the implementation of SSOW (PTW/ WMS/ Risk Assessment etc.).
    6. Ability to conduct training/awareness sessions on relevant HSE procedures applicable to the SOW.
    7. Ability to implement practical H2S control measures.
    8. Ability to conduct HSE audits and inspections.
    9. Ability to investigate incidents, identify immediate and root causes.
    10. Ability to speak, read, and write English with good communication skills.
    11. Effective interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills.
    12. Willing to work in various offshore sites.
    13. Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills.
    14. Leadership and Teamwork.
    15. Familiarity with ongoing HSE management software, incident reporting systems, and data analysis tools.
