Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled AV Technician to join our team at Marriott International. As an AV Technician, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting all audiovisual equipment, devices, and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate audiovisual equipment in banquet and meeting rooms
  • Oversee the set-up of audiovisual equipment and ensure all equipment is fully operational
  • Repair or clean equipment when necessary and label any broken equipment
  • Tape down and dress all loose wire and cable
  • Check delivered equipment and room set-up against Banquet Event Order
  • Communicate any additions or deletions to flowsheets to manager/supervisor
  • Assist and instruct guests/customers regarding proper usage and operation of audiovisual equipment
  • Up-sell different audiovisual services and monitor equipment operation at appropriate intervals
  • Break-down, remove, and secure equipment when not in use
  • Read, understand, and adhere to Marriott Visual Productions (MVP) SOP book
Requirements

To be successful as an AV Technician, you will need to have excellent technical skills and attention to detail. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have excellent communication and customer service skills.
