The Head of Aircraft Management Sales will spearhead the development and execution of sales strategies aimed at securing new contracts for managed aircraft. This position also plays a vital role in enhancing existing client relationships and overseeing the Customer Success team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the VIP/business aviation sector, strong sales expertise, and a proven history of effective customer relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and execute innovative sales strategies to attract new aircraft management contracts, focusing on revenue maximization and market expansion.
- Inspire and lead the aircraft management sales team across the organization.
- Promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the aircraft management division.
- Establish and nurture robust relationships with aircraft owners, managers, brokers, and financial institutions to identify new business prospects and enhance market presence.
- Collaborate closely with the Customer Success team to ensure effective management of client relationships, fostering high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
- Oversee the Customer Success operations, implementing best practices to enhance the client experience throughout their journey.
- Provide expert consultancy to clients regarding aircraft management solutions, utilizing comprehensive knowledge of the aviation industry and market dynamics.
- Work with the marketing department to develop engaging sales materials and campaigns that effectively convey the company's value proposition.
- Represent the organization at industry events and networking opportunities, enhancing visibility and creating new business avenues.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports on sales performance, market insights, and strategic development to senior management.
- Ensure that proposals and contracts are structured to attract clients while safeguarding the company's interests and ensuring financial viability.
- Supervise the execution of contracts from initiation to aircraft service entry, ensuring clarity and mutual understanding of all terms.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in the aviation sector, specifically in aircraft management and sales.
- Demonstrated success in meeting sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- A broad network of potential clients and exceptional relationship-building capabilities.
- Outstanding leadership and management skills, with a minimum of 10 years leading high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong business acumen and strategic insight.
- Familiarity with aircraft management services and industry regulations.
- A bachelor's degree in aviation management, business administration, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
