Senior Optimization Specialist

At MatchaTalent, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Real-Time Optimization Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for streamlining real-time optimization objectives with corporate goals, developing program best practices, and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to improve performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Real-Time Optimization: Conduct real-time optimizations in refinery operations to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Data Analysis: Analyze data from various sources, including process variables, instrumentation, and control systems, to identify improvement opportunities.
- Process Control: Implement advanced process control strategies to optimize refinery operations and maximize the yield of desired products.
- Strategy Development: Lead the development of new strategies, feasibility studies, and established business cases.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with engineers, operators, and vendors to develop and implement real-time optimization solutions.
- System Monitoring: Monitor and troubleshoot real-time optimization systems to ensure smooth and reliable operation.
- Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest advancements in real-time optimization techniques and technologies to continuously improve refinery operations.
- Training and Support: Provide technical support and training on real-time optimization systems and processes to engineers, operators, and other personnel.
- Performance Evaluation: Perform periodic assessments and evaluations to gauge the performance and effectiveness of real-time optimization solutions.
- Risk Management: Identify and address potential safety, environmental, and reliability risks associated with real-time optimization processes.
- Long-Term Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement long-term improvement plans for refinery operations.
- Technology Evaluation: Conduct benchmarks, business case studies, and pilot evaluations of new advanced process control technologies such as Machine Learning and AI to contribute to yield improvement.
