Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse with phlebotomy experience to join our team at Skills Hub Recruitment Solutions. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and performing phlebotomy procedures with precision and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
  • Perform phlebotomy procedures, including venipuncture and capillary puncture, with a focus on patient comfort and safety.
  • Collect and handle blood specimens for laboratory analysis, ensuring accurate and timely results.
  • Monitor patients' conditions, administer medications, and maintain accurate medical records, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Educate patients and their families about health conditions and treatments, promoting informed decision-making and empowerment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring seamless coordination and communication.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, infection control policies, and regulatory standards, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Certification in phlebotomy, demonstrating expertise and commitment to the field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience with phlebotomy skills, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of medical terminology, with the ability to communicate complex information effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a hospital or clinical setting, with a focus on phlebotomy and patient care.
  • Advanced certifications in specialty areas, demonstrating expertise and commitment to ongoing learning and development.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems, with the ability to navigate and utilize technology effectively.
