Job Summary:

The Staff Nurse is accountable for the coordination of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care. The Staff Nurse supports professional nursing practice across the continuum of care to meet the needs of the patient and family.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with the Nursing Scope of Practice as defined by the regulatory body.
  • Provide age-appropriate patient care and support the mission, vision and values of Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC).
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless transitions of care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Develop and implement patient education plans to promote health literacy and self-management.
  • Adhere to and promote the Professional Nurses Code of Conduct for Abu Dhabi and UAE.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in nursing practice, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
