About This Opportunity:
  1. This role requires the ability to conduct thorough routine eye inspections and identify patients' visual alertness, field of vision, and hand-eye coordination.
  2. Patient diagnosis is a critical component of this position, where you will diagnose sight problems such as nearsightedness and color blindness.
  3. In addition to prescribing corrective lenses and medications, you will also be responsible for maintaining accurate medical files for all patients.
  4. Promoting eye health through education is an essential aspect of this role, where you will teach patients about proper eye care techniques.
  5. You will also identify and assess eye defects and diseases such as diabetes and liver failure.

Key Requirements:

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • A Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree is required.

  • A minimum of 2 years experience as an Optometrist is preferred.
