  • Oversee the kitchen team, ensuring that all staff are working efficiently and effectively to meet the demands of the restaurant.
  • Monitor and record inventory, and order new supplies as necessary, to ensure that the kitchen is always well-stocked.
  • Provide support and guidance to junior kitchen staff, including line cooking, food preparation, and dish plating.
  • Recruit and train new kitchen staff to meet the high standards of the Hyatt Hotel.
  • Create schedules for kitchen staff and evaluate their performance, ensuring that all staff are working to their full potential.
  • Adhere to and implement sanitation regulations and safety protocols, ensuring that the kitchen is a safe and healthy environment for all staff and guests.
  • Manage the kitchen team in the absence of the Executive Chef, ensuring that the kitchen continues to operate smoothly and efficiently.

**Requirements**

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Sous Chef in a high-end hotel or restaurant.
  • Proven track record of success in menu development and implementation.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of sanitation regulations and safety protocols, with the ability to implement and maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
