Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver designs for clients independently, calling on experts as required
  2. Ensure all civil/structural and marine designs are in accordance with set standards and that all recommendations are robust, value-based, and commissionable
  3. Ensure that designs are delivered on time to clients and that the design fulfills the client's brief
  4. Inspect structures and construction work and ensure that all aspects of design are correctly implemented
  5. Monitor processes and results and ensure that they comply with relevant safety, legal, ethical, and regulatory requirements
  6. Make appropriate judgments and decisions and exercise initiative
  7. Assist with the preparation of tender documentation
Requirements:
  1. 5-8 years of industry experience
  2. Masters in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
  3. Experience in the field of marine civil engineering is desirable
  4. Chartered or near chartered with the ICE or equivalent
  5. Proven technical knowledge of specific subject areas pertaining to civil and structural works and proven ability to use relevant software
  6. Willingness and ability to contribute to business development and the growth of the business
  7. Experienced & confident with report writing and presentation skills
  8. Can communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and outside agencies and build effective working relationships
  9. Adheres to all Codes of Practice, Design Standards, and Health and Safety Regulations
  10. Represent and promote Ayesa in a professional manner and develop effective working relationships with clients and potential clients
  11. Committed to Continued Professional Development and that of others
  12. Working knowledge of BS 6349, Eurocodes, and related marine guidance
